Open de Espana Golf Tips

pro2punter - Sergio Garcia

The dust has settled on the US Masters and we’re back to the European Tour. This week it’s heading to Spain where Sergio Garcia hosts a top quality line up playing at Valderrama. My best bet of the weekend is in form Rafael Cabrera Bello who is one of the best players in the world at present and finished with an outstanding final round on Sunday at Augusta, to add to his World Matchplay semi-final a couple of weeks before. There are a few Masters competitors in the field but the Spaniard looks the one to beat.

In with a great chance of victory this week is Belgiums Thomas Pieters. He won his maiden tour last season and will enjoy the set up at Valderrama with the big hitters often coming out on top. The weather could also be a factor as Pieters has proved himself when the heat is ramped up. At 33/1 he’s a very nice price to finish high up the field.

Julien Quesne his my final selection to follow up some good recent results. He finished top five in both Perth and Malaysia and it could be said he’s close to the top of his game. He enjoys tree lined courses and his first success was down the road in Marbella so he obviously likes the golf courses around this area. Another big double figure price can be had so make sure you get on each way.
