Betting Tips for the Smart Punter

Nani to shine for Portugal

A great day of games culminating with Austria and Portugal both needing wins, and Nani the man who can shine once again. The day starts at 2pm when both Belgium and Rep of Ireland will be desperate for a win to give them chances of qualification, and squeezed in the middle Hungary look to stay unbeaten when they play Iceland at 5pm. Yesterday we finished over 2 points in profit after Nolito scored for the Spanish, so let’s kick on with more Euro 2016 winners!

Belgium v Rep. Ireland

Belgium proved a disappointment once again when rolling over and losing to Italy in their opening match. Ireland were respectable and managed a draw against the Swedes, and will be confident of taking something from this game. Belgium on paper look amazing, but they just don’t play as a team, the complete opposite to Martin O’Neil’s boys, who will fight tooth and nail for a scrappy draw or even nicking a 1-0 win. The bet on the early game looks to be on Ireland taking something away from this match, so we’re getting on a win or draw for the boys in green.

Iceland v Hungary

Hungary caused a shock when comfortably beating Austria in their opening game, but they may underestimate today’s rivals, who also had a great result when they held Portugal to a 1-1 draw. This will be a cagey game and defenses will come out on top once again. A hard one to call but we like Iceland counter attacking style and we’re having a small punt on them nicking a 1-0 win.

Portugal v Iceland

Our scorer tips have been doing well and we’re in profit for the tournament. Last Portugal match we picked Nani to score anytime and he looks value again today. Ronaldo doesn’t look to be firing so the ex- Man Utd star can take the baton and use his pace and experience to trouble a dodgy looking Austrian back line.
