Chelsea v Liverpool (Friday 8pm)
Chelsea have made a very good start to the season under new boss Antonio Conte with the only blip being a 2-2 Draw with Swansea last weekend in a game that they really should’ve won convincingly.
One of the biggest pluses for the Blues is the form of Eden Hazard. The Belgian superstar looks like he is approaching the form of two seasons ago and is clearly enjoying a new lease of life under the former Juventus coach. He already has two goals under his belt this season and looks dangerous every time he goes forward.
Liverpool have been fantastic to watch this season with a dynamic attack full of goals, but their defence looks incredibly suspect. They are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league this season and I cannot see them keeping a vibrant Chelsea side at bay.
Treble your money and back Eden Hazard to score on Friday night.
Hull City v Arsenal (Saturday 3pm)
Mike Phelan has enjoyed an excellent start to his Hull reign with 7 points amassed already and that includes a gut-wrenching last minute loss at home to Man United. They look a very solid unit at the back and a powerful force at set pieces.
Arsenal will be very tired after their trip to PSG in the week and even though they got an excellent point they really were outplayed on the night. If Edinson Cavani was anywhere near his best then they would’ve got beat convincingly.
Arsenal are obviously a better side than Hull, but the odds are a little insulting to the home side. There are very few fixtures in the Premier League where the home side should be as big as 11/2 and this certainly isn’t one of them.
Hull are hugely overpriced here and it is unquestionably worth a punt backing them at massive odds of 11/2.
Tottenham v Sunderland (Sunday 4.30pm)
Tottenham will be very disappointed to have lost their Champions League opener against Monaco on Wednesday night, but they couldn’t have asked for a better fixture to get back in the winner’s enclosure on Sunday.
Sunderland have looked very poor in their opening few games and their 2nd half collapse against Everton showed just how fragile a unit they are.
Spurs are quite rightly the big favourites for the win with a general price of about 1/3 on offer, but we’re looking elsewhere for the value.
Toby Alderweireld is a superb player and always a threat at set pieces, as he showed at Wembley in the week. Tottenham are likely to get many opportunities to get the big Belgian forward to attack that fragile Sunderland defence so snap up the massive 15/2 on Alderweireld scoring on Sunday afternoon.
