Raktiman (3.00 Fakenham) @ 4/1 Win (NAP)

Raktiman ran well when 2nd over distance at Sedgefield at the end of January and remains off the same mark today. Sam England’s 10 year old also performed admirably at this track last December and with suitable conditions this afternoon he has a great chance at generous odds.

Pete The Feat (4.15 Sandown) @ 6/1 E/W (Next Best)

Pete The Feat dug in superbly to claim the Veteran’s Series Final here last month and has the class to defy the 8lb rise penalty from that win. This is arguably a slightly weaker race and with a trainer in good form this is the value bet to snap up.

Fattsota (3.25 Newcastle) @ 16/1 E/W (In With A Chance)

Fattsota returns to the all-weather after 3 noteworthy starts over the hurdles. A mark of 90 looks comfortable and at 16/1 David O’Meara’s gelding seems to be underestimated by the layers. Certainly worth an each way punt at huge odds.
